Greetings Apostle and my K.E.M family,<\/p>\n
I\u2019m away at college right now but I try my best to stay connected to K.E.M and God has blessed my efforts, in doing so. Apostle, you\u2019ve taught us the importance of sowing our First Fruits and now that I know the importance of it, I\u2019m held accountable to do what\u2019s right. I was a little discouraged of the low amount I had to give, even though we were told to give what we had or what The Lord placed on our hearts. Because of the snow, my hours were cut and I had to give in late February. Cut hours for a college student means no hours and I barely had money to buy food. I wasn\u2019t home so I mailed my First Fruits and Offering. A couple days later, doors flew open. On March 4th<\/sup>, my brothers birthday, I decided to do something special instead of moping around in sadness because he\u2019s not here. I went to the Civil Rights Museum, with my camera in hand, in hopes of taking pictures of the tour. While waiting for our group to be called I was messing with my camera. I saw a family of caterers setting up for an event downstairs, so I offered to help. After they were done setting up, the owner came to me and asked me, \u201cAre you the photographer for the event downstairs?\u201d I said, \u201cNo ma\u2019am.\u201d She then asked me, \u201cWho are you working for?\u201d, \u201cNo one.\u201d I said. Then she said, \u201cDo you want to work?\u201d, I yelled \u201cYES MAAM!\u201d.<\/p>\n After taking pictures for her, she gave me her card and contact information and I told her I\u2019d send her the pictures. Before leaving, she hired me on spot for all her upcoming events and paid me too. There was a Professional photographer there and we chatted throughout the event and eventually started talking about my major and how I got into photography. I told him I made films as well and He looked at me in disbelief. He was looking for a filmmaker for an upcoming Fashion Show, in honor of his wife who has lupus. He told me about 1.5 million people will be there and he wanted me to film and direct this production. He hired me on spot.<\/p>\n Checks have been sent my way randomly when I\u2019ve needed them the most. This is not to say that God is a bank, it\u2019s to say that God provides. This is just a little bit of what God has been doing in my life.\u00a0I wholeheartedly believe this was a furnace experience for me.
