I am writing this praise report to encourage fellow college students to trust in God and believe that he can work things out in their future endeavors as he did for me. At the end of 2014, I was given the opportunity to travel abroad to Italy and Croatia this month for three weeks. It would be a great opportunity and I would receive credit toward my doctorate degree studies. I have learned through your teachings that “Education without Salvation is Damnation.” At the beginning of deciding to pursue this opportunity, I was not aware of how the funds were going to come through for me. I didn’t worry about it much and kept sewing into the ministry, believing God would make a way. I begin to make phone calls and email organizations for funding opportunities, but it seemed that everywhere I turned, I was told there were no scholarships or funds available. About two weeks ago, I received an email that a donor that had not been given funds to students for several years, chose to give me their John G. Richardson International Study Experience Award in the amount of $1,000. Not only that, but I ended up receiving total donations in the amount of $1,700 and enough money through financial aid to cover the whole program amount of about $5,000. To God be the glory!
